Rubber-gun

On the fun side of gadgets, and maybe something to issue mainstream in the states to decrease the numbers of civilians killed by real bullets. Why not go for this old-style Gatling gun that you can lock and load with up to 144 rubberbands, 12 bands per barrel. Gatling

How fast you are able to blow it all off simply depends on how fast you can swing it. Read more about it over at Backyardartillery.

On its turret you can turn the Gatling 360 degress, plus it can tilt. I just can't help myself but think of the cats and devil-kids in my neighbourhood. Maybe I should mount the whole thing in my garden and get 'em all on the run one hot summer day :-) Our maybe in my office - just to make sure everyone understands that finishing the coffee without putting the kettle back on - is painful.

Wet dream from Alienware

Ali1_1 OK, I know I'm a little late with this, but after reading about Alienwares Area-51 5400 on Engadget and in Wired mag, I just had to post some pictures of this wet dream of a computer. Well its not just a computer, it's an all-in-one portable entertainment desktop.

Most people would die just to have a monitor like this. Well, when you think of what it has inside, you are probably going to be ready to kill for it as well. This ultra-quiet, design-slick 17" comes with just one (1!) powercord and it holdes: VGA camera, mic, wireless keyboard and mouse, Wi-Fi card, Intel Core Duo, a brute graphic card, Intel Viiv technology.

Ali2_1 Area-51 5400 will be launched Februar 2006. And, suddenly my iMac isn't the same anymore...

Headinjuries and helmets

Posting this under Gadgets-ideas. Cuz, if someone out there could please find it in his/hers head to make a helmet so cool that old (!) people will wear it in the slopes, then do so quick. New research show that 6 out of 10 headinjuries from snowboarding or alpine-skiing could have been avoided if the person had used a helmet. The kids however are not at risk, cuz they use helmets.

When doing yourself just doesn't cut it

OK, so now it's proven (again). To all you singles or work-a-holics out there, you just got to find yourself a partner to have sex with. An article in New Scientist referring to a study done by Stuart Brody and Tillmann H. C. Krüger (The post-orgasmic prolactin increase following intercourse is greater than following masturbation and suggests greater satiety) shows its a propable couse to claim that having sex with a partner is 400% more satisfying than taking the matters into your own hands.
